Chapter 1
The reawakening
---------------------
I walked forward, unaware of why Aizen had summoned me. I entered the main hall of Hueco Mundo. Aizen, Gin and Tousen were waiting at the opposite side of the room, waiting for me to approach. I walked closer towards them cautiously, silently despising their guts for betraying Soul Society. As I neared them, Aizen reached out with one hand and stroked my smooth, orange hair. He said quietly, "I want you to reawaken the Hougyoku, Orihime."
The moment I had been waiting for was finally here: the chance and opportunity to destroy the Hougyoku. I reached out my hand as Aizen placed the sphere in it. I called the power contained within me, the Shun Shun Rikka, and activated my abilities of distortion to break the Hougyoku. However, as I attempted this, I was wrapped in darkness, as a change occured within me, both Psychological and physical. I felt my body changing, my heart becoming clouded...
Then I reversed the flow of power, using my abilities to undo the breaking and to reawaken the Hougyoku instead. Then it was over. The darkness was gone, to be replace with reality. In my hand the hougyoku was shining with new power, as Aizen retrieved it from my hand. I lifted my hand to my forehead and felt the newly-created remains of my hollow mask which never was there. My left hand gripped my new Zanpakuto while the right moved to the hollow hole in my left chest where my heart used to be. I found new strength and power coursing through my body. I looked at Aizen. He was smiling at me and I new he had wrought the changes in me. I knew I had the power to slice off his head right then and there with my Zanpakuto.
The thing was, I didn't want to.

BTW, Her hollow mask Remnant in this fanfic is on her forehead, and it looks like the front portion of a tiara, the kind British queens wear, just that it's made out of bone instead of crystal or gold. And no, it's nothing like Baragan's crown.
